Parenting as a frontline for Social Change
I view parenting as a frontline for creating social change, and engaging in social justice work.
Inside our homes is the first place our children can experience what it feels like to be valued, seen and appreciated, to be met with a felt sense of dignity and worth. Imagine the social change that could happen by a whole generation of young people who don’t experience oppression by their parents and early caregivers.
Learning from diverse voices and experiences.
There are so many (adult) experts in the conscious parenting space sharing their wisdom and insights. That said, at the end of the day, what matters most is how our children are experiencing us as parents.
Join myself and my 7-year-old daughter Lucy, as we explore together various approaches that contribute to connection and a mutually respectful parent-child dynamic. Our hope is that you can take these conversations and have them with your children as well! After all, our children are the ones whose opinion matters most when it comes to how we're parenting.
